Julep Maven Time!

Yay school is finally over, moving finished time for some nail posts!

A while back i heard about the Julep Maven boxes, 20 dollars a month for 2 nail polishes and a treatment, i didnt really know how i felt about it. But then about a month ago they had the deal where you get the first box for 0.01$ what a steal! So obviously i couldn't refuse, and had to order it right away. Having never tried Julep products before, it's a great way to see if i liked them.
 Finally it got here yay!!! 2 nail polishes and a hand exfoliating scrub.

First nail polish is Natasha, a pretty red-orange cream
Second nail polish Oscar a gold glitter.
Nail exfoliation scrub.

Can't wait to try these out!

Essie Shine of the Times

I can never resist a good flakie polish and when i first began to see Essie Shine of the Times i knew i had to get my hands on it. I FINALLY made the purchase and needless to say i was not disappointed.
Shine of the times is a beautiful flakie polish which gives a seemingly rainbow effect when applied, must be seen in real life to fully appreciate this polish. Once i had it on my nails i couldn't stop looking and playing with the effect the polish had in the light shining and mesmerizing me to no end.

Overall a fabulous and fun polish to brighten up any day!

Long time no post!

Hello all (well just me for now :P ),
Sorry there havent been any posts lately, i've been going through the stress of exams and moving all at once. I have some new polishes to swatch and try out so as soon as the time comes expect a ton more posts!

Essie Play Date

I am absolutely loving this pastel purple polish from Essie!
it is a perfect spring polish, pastel yet still vibrant when worn.

This was such a smooth polish, basically opaque in 2 coats. I used three just to further the depth of the colour. I am absolutely in love with this colour, Essie has done it again with Play Date!

I can never seem to control myself when i go across the border to shop. There's just so many pretty things!

Feather Nails!

Hello again! I changed up my nail polish already, with seeing these feather nails around i decided i had to try them. overall not a to hard of a manicure, but it was difficult to get the feathers to stay down on some of my nails...

First Post!

Woo First Post on the blog! These are exciting times my friends exciting times. This blog (hopefully) will be used to document my nail polish addiction and the different creations i decide to do upon my nails (rather than doing other useful things such as studying). I'm hoping that you people out in internet land like what im doing and gather some ideas from what i do.
I'm going to apologize in advance for my terrible camera skills, i just suck at taking pictures, but i'm going to try my hardest to gather good and non blurry photos :P


First batch of nails:
i was inspired by the hunger games for these, doing a slightly different take on Katniss' "fire nails".

Staying true to theme, all polishes cam from the Capitol Colours collection. On another note, my nails are starting to chip so a new polish seems to be on the horizon yay!
